Global law firm White & Case LLP has advised Evidia on the acquisition of Teleconsult, a leading teleradiology provider, and Meditecs, a specialist in interoperability solutions.
Completion of the transaction is subject to customary regulatory approvals and is expected to occur by mid-year, with Meditecs becoming a wholly owned subsidiary of Evidia.
Evidia is a portfolio company of EQT Infrastructure Fund V and a pan-European provider of diagnostic imaging services with a focus on technology-enabled and increasingly AI-driven solutions. The proposed acquisition will strengthen Evidia’s position in tele-diagnostics and support the build-out of a pan-European platform for teleradiology services in Sweden, the United Kingdom, Germany, Denmark and the Netherlands.
Teleconsult and Meditecs contribute complementary capabilities in teleradiology, system integration and interoperability.
In 2023, White & Case also advised Evidia on its acquisition of 4ways, a leading teleradiology platform in the United Kingdom focused on outsourced 24/7 reporting services.
The White & Case team which advised on the transaction was led by partner Tomislav Vrabec (Frankfurt) and included partners Bodo Bender, Sebastian Stütze, Daniel Zapf and Mathias Bogusch (all Frankfurt), Thilo Wienke (Düsseldorf), Tim Hickman and Michael Evans (both London), Orion Berg (Paris), local partners Ana Calvo and Guillermo Ruiz de Salazar (both Madrid), counsel Kate Kelliher (London) and associates Michael Grambow, Sofia Zafiriou Alexander von der Wense, Thomas Kolb and Karim Meziani (all Frankfurt), Johannes Wiehe (London), Jonas Brandt, Jennie Storm, Isak Bruncevic, Elin Hamberg and Olivia Jansson (all Stockholm), Nadia Romano and Sara Bilge (both London), Louis Roussier (Paris), Maria Estela Pichardo and Eduardo Franco (both Madrid).
