Global law firm White & Case LLP has expanded its Global Intellectual Property Practice with the addition of Jonathan Lamberson as a partner in Silicon Valley.

"Jonathan is a highly regarded patent litigator, who brings significant client relationships and a long history of achieving excellent results at trial," said Anita Varma, Head of White & Case's Global Intellectual Property Practice. "As high-tech patent litigation becomes increasingly complex, his arrival fortifies our established platform in this area, and expands the bench strength of expertise available to clients in our Silicon Valley office."

Lamberson is a trial lawyer with a strong track record in litigating complex patent jury cases across the US. He is also an expert on fair, reasonable and non-discriminatory damages, and is familiar with the practices of standards bodies including the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers and the European Telecommunications Standards Institute.

Lamberson also has a significant appellate and post-grant practice, having argued before the Federal Circuit, Ninth Circuit, and the Patent Trial and Appeal Board in multiple inter-partes review proceedings. He joins White & Case from Fish & Richardson P.C.

"Jonathan's depth of experience advising on high-tech patent litigations will be a tremendous resource for our clients as they continue to pursue protection of their IP in the global technology arena," said Heather Burke, Office Executive Partner for White & Case's Silicon Valley office. "His arrival demonstrates our commitment to further expanding our Silicon Valley office, and continuing to grow our market-leading IP and technology capabilities."
