White & Case advises Ara Partners on acquisition of Petainer Group

Global law firm White & Case LLP has advised private equity firm Ara Partners on its acquisition of beverage packaging producer Petainer Group.

"The investment by Ara Partners will support Petainer's growth and, importantly, enhance its ability to influence manufacturers globally on their carbon reduction strategies," said White & Case partner Richard Jones, who led the Firm's deal team. 

Ara Partners is a US-headquartered private equity firm with offices in Houston, Texas; Boston, Massachusetts; and Dublin, Ireland. It invests in the industrial and manufacturing, chemicals and materials, energy efficiency, green fuels, and food and agriculture sectors, with a focus on building businesses that provide significant decarbonisation impact. 

Petainer Group is a UK-based, global responsible producer of beverage packaging. It offers a wide range of lightweight, sustainable PET packaging solutions that allow its customers to reduce their carbon footprint. It has over 35 years of experience designing and manufacturing high quality, cost-efficient products with circularity as a core principle. It operates eight sites in Europe, the Americas and Asia to serve customers globally.
