Global law firm White & Case LLP has advised Fotowatio Renewables Ventures (FRV) on the project financing of the 100 MW Lilyvale Solar Farm, located near Emerald in Queensland.
"The Lilyvale Solar Farm will include the one millionth solar panel that FRV will install in its projects in Australia. We would like to congratulate FRV on this significant achievement," said Melbourne-based White & Case partner Ged Cochrane, who led the Firm's deal team.
Financed by Australia and New Zealand Banking Group Limited, The Bank of Tokyo–Mitsubishi UFJ, Ltd., and Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation, the project achieved financial close on September 18, 2017 with commercial operations expected to commence in late 2018. The Lilyvale Solar Farm will connect to the national electricity grid and generate enough power to supply approximately 45,000 homes.
