Enterprise value of the combined company to exceed US$23 billion
Global law firm White & Case LLP advised Dr. Dennis Gillings, the founder and significant shareholder of Quintiles (NYSE:Q), the world's largest provider of biopharmaceutical development and commercial outsourcing services, on the pending merger with IMS Health Holdings (NYSE:IMS), a healthcare information, services and technology company. The merged company will be named Quintiles IMS Holdings, Inc., and will have a combined enterprise value of more than US$23 billion.
The transaction, which the parties expect to close in the second half of 2016, is subject to regulatory approvals and other customary closing conditions.
